A rain forest can be compared to a tall jungle! The weather is hot, humid, and rainy. Many animals and plants call the rainforest home. They are used to living in a hot, rainy place.
30 million different types of plants and animals live in the rain forest. This includes some of the prettiest plants and flowers in the world. Rainforests are home to more than half of the world's plants and animals.
