Brass Family Introduction to the brass family, including the french horn, trombone, trumpet, and tuba. Keyboard Family Introduction to the keyboard family, including the piano, harpsichord, organ, and synthesizer. String Family Introduction to the string family, including the violin, harp, banjo, guitar, and mandolin. Percussion Family Introduction to the percussion family, including the drum, tambourine, timpani, cymbals, and xylophone. Music as a Storyteller Learn about the ability of music to convey elements of storytelling, such as plot, tone, and characterization. Includes an interactive listening activity. Create a Composition Students compose a musical piece. I will be Bach Students listen to Bach Tocatta in D and express through art, what the piece makes them feel or think about.
